Is Plusnet part of BT?+

Yes. Plusnet has been a fully owned subsidiary of BT Group since 2006. It uses the same Openreach infrastructure as BT and EE broadband but operates as a separate brand.

Does Plusnet do TV packages?+

No. Plusnet discontinued its TV service several years ago. There are currently no TV bundles available from Plusnet.

How much does Plusnet cost per month?+

Introductory prices start from around £26.99/month. However, prices increase by £4/month every 31st March so a £26.99/month plan becomes £30.99 in Year 2 and £33.99 in Year 3.

What router does Plusnet provide?+

Plusnet supplies the Hub Two, essentially BT's Smart Hub 2 under a different name. It uses WiFi 5 and does not support mesh networking.

What speeds does Plusnet offer in my area?+

Available speeds depend on your postcode. In most UK postcodes you can access FTTC up to 66Mb. Where Openreach FTTP has been built, speeds from 74Mb up to 900Mb are available.
