Speeds depend on your street, not just your provider. Enter your postcode to see every provider and speed available at your address.
NOW Broadband is Sky’s value brand and uses the same Openreach-based network, mainly Fab Fibre (around 36 Mbps) and Super Fibre (around 63 Mbps) FTTC packages, with full fibre now offered in some areas. It is a budget-focused range, so the top speeds available at your address may only be sold by other providers.
Test wired or next to the router first. NOW’s packages are mostly FTTC, where distance from the street cabinet caps your speed, so if you are far from the cabinet, no troubleshooting will get you to the advertised average.
NOW has begun selling full-fibre packages in some areas, but the range is more limited than Sky’s. If you want the fastest speeds at your address, compare all providers at your postcode.
For light-to-moderate use on a budget, often yes, but always compare, because full-fibre providers frequently undercut FTTC pricing now, giving you several times the speed for similar money.
